MEET THE PRINCIPAL
Dr. B.Pattnaik
Director - Principal
Dr. B. Pattnaik is a young dynamic personality with a proven record of a good academician and administrator having an outstanding academic record. He has obtained his B.Tech degree (Mechanical Engineering) from Mysore University and M.Tech (Industrial Engineering) with honours from SambalpurUniversity. He has received his Ph.D in thrust area of multivariate quality control from IIT Kharagpur.
Prior to current Post, he worked as Director and Professor and Head of the Department in different institutes and universities. He has more than twenty years of rich experience as an engineer of industrial machine precision & quality inspector, academician, researcher and administrator of repute.
His research interests are Multivariate Process Control, Multivariate Process Capability Index (Nonparametric), Support Vector Data Description (SVDD), Self Organizing Map (SOM) etc. His recent area of research interest is designing & quality inspection of MEMS Devices using ANSYS.
Dr. Pattnaik has to his credit over twenty publications in international and national journals and conferences and symposia. He is a regular and sought after speaker in conferences, symposia, workshops and other special academic events and as a Resource Person in Refresher Course Programs for college and university teachers. He has organized several International and National Conferences. He was Syllabus revision committee member of different universities.
Dr. Pattnaik is a Fellow Member of Indian Society of Quality and Reliability in Aerospace and Technologies, India, Member of ISME and life Member of ISTE.
He has guided a large number of M.Tech and B.Tech students. As an academician, he has widely travelled both in India and Abroad and possesses a number of academic distinctions to his credit. He has served many technical institutes and universities in various capacities, especially in both development and implementation of undergraduate programs. He has guided students for Dissertations of Master’s and Undergraduate’s program in different institutions.
MESSAGE FROM THE DESK OF PRINCIPAL
In addition to agriculture, manufacturing and service sectors, need to make a significant contribution to GDP for Indian Economy to grow at the projected rate of 8%. In the present era of knowledge economy, economic growth of India shall be largely dependent on the availability of the competent human resource. The availability of appropriate and quality industrial/service organizations and infrastructure in the form of power availability, net work of roads, transport and communication system etc. are necessary for the manufacturing and service organizations to function effectively and efficiently.

Eligibility Criteria
B.E./ B.Tech: ( Ist Year)
Should be pass in 10+2 examination from recognized Board / University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects:
(a) Chemistry (b) Biotechnology (c) Computer Science (d) Biology
OR
Have passed Diploma Course in Engineering / Technology of three years duration or more from State Board of Technical Education, Haryana or its equivalent Diploma Examination.
B.E./ B.Tech - LEET: 2nd Yr. (3rd Semester) Courses:
The admission to 3 rd semester (2 nd year) of the four year B.Tech. Degree courses is also available in this institute under the lateral entry scheme for the diploma holder candidates through the merit of the entrance test LEET 2008.
Eligibility
A candidate must have passed the diploma in Engg. in the relevant branch with a minimum of 60 % in aggregate OR
A candidate must have passed the degree in Sc.(B.Sc.) with mathematics as a subject and with a minimum of 60 % marks in aggregate
Note: The affiliating University may prescribe compensatory courses to make up deficiencies for the diploma holders, who are admitted through lateral entry.
The affiliating university may exempt B.Sc. Degree holders from Science courses and other relevant courses at the second year level and prescribe compensatory courses to makeup deficiencies.

Post Graduate (MBA / MCA) Courses:
The university offers the following Post Graduate courses to the students with Engineering backgroung:
1. Masters in Computer Application (MCA)
2. Masters in Business Administration (MBA)
Eligibility Criteria - MBA
Should have Bachelor's or Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto by KU, Kurukshetra, Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar, and Ch. Devi Lal University, Sirsa, as the case may be with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (minimum pass marks in case or SC/ST candidates)
OR
Pass in Final Examination conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountant of India/Institute of Costs and Works Accountants of India/Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
Eligibility Criteria - MCA
Should be a pass in any recognized Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years' duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level.
Or
Should be a pass in any recognized Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years' duration in any discipline with Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects.
Or
Should be a pass in BCA Degree of minimum three years duration from a recognized University
Fee for the Courses (Amount in Rs.) : As per
norms of Haryana Govt.
(The students have to pay the revised fee or any other charges, if at anytime it is allowed by the State Fee Committee).

Faculty is the Backbone of the Professional Educational Institutes. Teaching faculty comprises of well-qualified experienced and dedicated persons. Their teaching experience in the best institutes like NIT's, IIT's, Punjab Engineering College, Kurukshetra University, Panjab University, H.P.
