He is very well known to the Industries for his Vigor & Zeal. His untiring efforts & dedication has always been helping the students to get jobs in MNC's & Prominent Companies.

Er. S. K. Jain (Engineer-in-Chief Retd.) from BBMB Chandigarh, having great links & relations with the Industries, is assisting him as Training & Placement Officer. He has more than 8 years of experience in Teaching & Training & Placement Activities.

Swami Devi Dyal College of Technical Education was established in the year 2007. Diploma course is of three years, First batch will pass out in July,2010. This college has trades in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Computer Science, & Electronics.

Dr. Jitender Sharma is Principal of Swami Devi Dyal College of Technical Education. He is highly qualified i.e. M.Tech, MBA, & Ph.d. He has a vast experience of 14 years.

Training & Placement Deptt. is committed to provide placement oriented quality training  that meets requirement of various prominent Companies & MNC's.

Eminent Engineers & Personalities are invited to deliver lecturers & hold seminars, on the emerging fields, with a view to bring out the technical expertise within the students.

Placement Deptt. is constantly in touch with the leading organizations for organizing campus placements & joint campus placements to give opportunities to the Polytechnic Students of all trades  i.e. Electrical , Mechanical , Civil, Electronics, & Computer Science  for their career. Campus Placements will be organised next year i.e. during final year of course. Our goal is to achieve cent percent placements of our students.

Students are given coaching by Prominent & Experienced persons to improve their skills like Resume Writing, Communication Skills, Aptitude Test, Group Discussions & Technical & Personal Interview, which are all required for getting suitable jobs.

In spite of global recession, our aim is to get the students placed in a big way for which full efforts are being made to provide job opportunities for all students under Swami Devi Dyal Group of Professional Institutions.

1. Placement Officer of this organization sends placement invitation letters / E-Mail to various companies, along with profile of the colleges, & summary of the courses being run under Swami Devi Dyal Group of Professional Institutions, Barwala, distt. Panchkula.
2. Company may like to visit the campus before the recruitment drive is held.
3. On the basis of the eligibility criteria required by the companies, the interested students data base is prepared & sent to the company for short listing the candidates for placement drive.
4. A mutual convenient date is finalized for the selection process.
5. Selection process comprises of the following sequence. 
• Pre Placement talk by the Company to the students in Auditorium
• Aptitude / Written Test( In well furnished lecture halls)
• Group Discussions( Air Conditioned Rooms)
• Interview (Technical & HR in Air Conditioned Rooms)
